Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on September 21 of 1983 in Worthington, Ohio is an American actress. She is famous for playing Shannon Rutherford and Kim Mills as well in ABC's Lost TV show. Maggie Grace was born in Worthington from Ohio dropped out high school in order to move in Los Angeles after her divorced parents. In 2001, despite her difficulties with money, she was able to land her first major part in the web-based video show Rachel's Room in the role of Rachel's Room's main character. Following her win of an Young Artist Award in 2002 for her performance as Murder in Greenwich of a 15-year young Martha Moxley as a murder victim, Grace went on to be awarded. Grace Rutherford, a role she played in Lost from 2004 until 2005 was selected for a Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace wanted to focus on film after playing opposite Tom Welling's character, The Fog, in 2005. She starred as Kim Mills opposite Liam Neeson (both in Taken in 2008) as Suburban Girl and The Jane Austen Book Club. The role was reprised in Taken 2 (2012) and Taken 3 (2014).She played the lead role Alice on Malice in Wonderland a modern take on Lewis Carroll's novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace reprised the role of Shannon in two more episodes of Lost including the series finale. In 2013, Grace appears in the episode Californianation of the 6th Season. She portrays Faith as a female groupie and is also a model actors. Hank Moody is played by David Duchovny. She's the daughters of Stephen Gyllenhaal (director) and Naomi Achs (producer), she is a bit older that Jake Gyllenhaal. Her acting career started as an early teenager, as she was cast in minor roles in several films from her father. In addition, she was a part of her brother on the 2001 famous movie Donnie Darko. Later, she was in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind and Mona Lisa Smile (both 2002). Gyllenhaal received nominations for a Golden Globe Award in both the drama Sherrybaby (2005) and in the love story Secretary (2002). Both movies were critically acclaimed. In 2006, she had a number of films that were commercially successful, including World Trade Center. However it was her performance as Rachel Dawes that brought her greater attention for her performance in The Dark Knight (2008). For her performance as a single mother, in Crazy Heart (2009) she got a nomination in the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. After that she was able to appear in comedy films along with dramas, such as Nanny McPhee And The Big Bang (2010) Hysteria (2011), and Won't Back Down (12). In addition to her role as an agent of the Secret Service agent, she was also seen on screen in White House Down (2013) and Frank (2014). Her latest roles included as the main character in The Kindergarten Teacher (2018). Gyllenhaal composed and directed her first feature film, The Lost Daughter in 2021. The drama about psychological issues won the Best Screenplay Award from the Venice International Film Festival. The film was also nominated for The Academy Award of Best Adapted Screenplay.
