Rosalia Vila is also referred to as Rosalia Rosaly, is an Spanish singer of flamenco. Since she was a teenager Rosalia has delved into the dark side of pop and traditional music. Pepe Habichuela, a flamenco guitar player who is renowned for her talent, described her voice saying that it is sweet, with a traditional sound. Her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer a Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist her 2018 follow-up El Mal Querer was a huge commercial and critical hit that topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and eventually receiving the Grammy. In 2021, her single La Fama with The Weeknd came out. Motomami came out as her third full-length album. It featured collaborations on songwriting with other artists and producers, including Cory Henry. The release date was the 20th of March, 2022 after the show of Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia performed solo for the first time on the program. Motomami was the only female in history to be the winner of the Latin Album of the Year two times, in addition to three Latin Grammy Awards.
